Advantages of being my own boss:
1. All profit belongs to me.
2. If my business does well it has the potential to expand.
3. I would be able to give good customer service to my clients.
4. It will be easy to manage since all decision making is left to me.
Disadvantages of being my own boss:
1. Start up capital will be difficult to obtain.
2. If not managed properly, all profits may be put back into the business to keep it running.
3. I would have to work long hours, since all responsibilities will be left to me.
Advantages of working for someone else:
1. Vacation is given
2. A salary is paid
3. Benefits are given such as holidays
4. You get the opportunity to meet new people
Disadvantages of working for someone else:
1. If the business goes badly you are eligible of being laid off.
2. Does not have any say in the decision making of the business.
3. Adhering to other peoples'' rules and regulation can be annoying at times.
When I view your post I can see the pros and cons of working for myself and for someone. I can now see myself working for someone else.
ReplyDeleteI do agree that the business has the potential to expand but this can only happen when there is: a demand for goods and services, a wide market, good customer services and proper management of resources.
